Who says Google is all about searching? This is no longer the case when Google decided to offer their Nexus tablet. And with this, Google Nexus has been par with its competitor, the Samsung Galaxy. So, how both fared?
Google Nexus 10 versus Samsung Galaxy 7.7: What was the verdict?
Comparing these two involves with the following attributes: form, display, battery, camera and the OS. In form, most users prefer the galaxy than the nexus. Although smaller, Samsung Galaxy has the right size and volume. It also has a key lock which is very convenient.
Display makes the two even. Although Nexus 10 is a lot bigger and its components are clearer, Samsung 7.7 uses a technology for its display called super AMOLED – this is quite good as it shows more colours distinctly. Both have light sensors although Nexus 10 get’s to have this point as it has scratch resistant screen glass.
Google Nexus 10 has 16 gig built in storage while Samsung Galaxy 7.7 has 64 gig – guess you can say galaxy won on this one point. Both are about even in the camera features. Galaxy has 3 megapixels while nexus has 5. You might think nexus has this round especially with the nexus geo tagging on their camera (you know they do have Google map) and their 1920x1080p HD camcorder. However, the Galaxy does have their video calling features which is quite handy and their 2 megapixels front camera against the nexus 1.9 so again, the can even this round.
As you can see, both devices have their pros and cons, each one have better feature than with the other. However, Google Nexus 10 does have a PA rating of 9 while Samsung Galaxy 7.7 rates 7.5. This may be due to the fact that Nexus is way cheaper than Samsung Galaxy and of course, more affordable.
